A simple preventive maintenance routine can prevent most stenter breakdowns. This weekly checklist focuses on the parts that wear fastest and the checks that protect fabric quality.

Weekly checks (15–30 minutes)

  • Inspect chain lubrication and oil flow at all points

  • Check clip/pin condition and replace damaged units

  • Listen for abnormal noise from bearings and drives

  • Check fan vibration and clean lint build-up

  • Verify temperature uniformity and sensor condition

Monthly checks (deeper inspection)

  • Check rail alignment and wear pattern

  • Inspect sprockets, bearings, and tension system

  • Review lubrication lines for blockage/leaks

  • Inspect electrical connections and safety interlocks
